So, I was speaking with my girlfriend but I was cut off.
어제밤에 지하철에서 휴대전화 배터리가 맛탱이가 간거야. 여친이랑 얘기도중에 짤렸어.

I’m calling from a pay phone. 지금 공중전화야.

I’ll have her get back to you. 니한테 전화하라고 하께.

I’m just returning a call from her. 전화하라길래 했구만…
(전화하란 그녀가 자리에 없을 경우)

I am really picky. 내가 좀 까다롭잖냐 (물건을 골라서 담는 것을 pick up이라고 한다…
즉 고르는데 ‘까다로운’ 이란 뜻으로 picky)

Pearl Jam would have been a hit band in any era. 펄잼은 세기적인 유명 밴드그룹이야.

Their guitars and drums are drowning out the singer.
기타랑 드럼소리에 가수목소리가 안들려.

Tapes are becoming obsolete. 테이프는 인제 아무도 않써.

Those are going to flop big-time. 그것들은 별로 안좋아.

I don’t care. = I don’t give a shit. 신경안쓰거등…

Does this bar have live music? 저 빠에 라이브 하냐?
