뭔가 물어볼 때 어떤 표현들을 주로 사용하고 계십니까?
어떻게 시작해야할 지 몰라 주뼛거린 경험은 없으신지?

이런 쭈볏거림을 극복하기 위해서는 아래의 표현들을 입을 익혀 놓았다가
필요시에 바로바로 즉각즉각 유용하게 사용하시기 바랍니다!!!

-Could you tell me...?
- Do you know...?
- Do you happen to know...?
- I'd like to know...
- Could you find out...?

위의 표현 뒤에는 의문사가 오고 주어+동사를 쓰면 됩니다.(복문인 의문문임다)

예:
- Could you tell me when the next train leaves?
- Do you know how mcuh that vase costs?
- Do you happen to know where Tom lives?
- I'd like to knkow what you think about the new project.
- Could you find out when she is going to arrive?

- I'm interested in...
- I'm looking for...

in & for라는 전치사 다음에는 명사형태가 와야겠죠
(명사라고 일반명사뿐만 아니라..동명사, 대명사, 명사절..등등을 다 명사로 보는 버릇하십셔)

예,

- I'm interested in buying a boat.
- I'm looking for information on holidays in Spain.

특히, 전화상에서는 아래와 같은 표현을 사용합니다...

- I'm calling to find out...
- I'm calling about...

예를 보죠,
- I'm calling to find out if flight AZ098 will leave on time today.
- I'm calling about the offer published today's newspaper.

상황에 따른 적절한 표현을 사용하는 것이 의사소통의 관건입니다.
